Dipper Bobs Back!

People who know about Dippers as they can be seen bobbing in and out of water, scrambling around on rocks to keep fed really see how hard they work to stay alive.

Erika returns to us this month after a good fair in February, and the stock she will be bringing can be seen on https://dipperblog.wordpress.com/2015/02/25/coppers/

I do hope that she has a good fair, and doesn’t feel as though she has to work as hard as her namesake bird Cinclus Cinclus, I shall try to remember that, as being a relative of troglodytes troglodytes, which I see regularly, I miss seeing Dippers as much as when I lived in Lancashire, as a kid, or when I visit Somerset or Devon (The connection being faster flowing rivers with rocks breaking the surface!)

Sorry, waffling, here are some of Erika’s Coppers!

ATB, Andy.
