Has it been noticed that some of the birdsong has changed sound, the swallows getting ready to return to their winter homes shall be soon on their way, the owls and buzzards have thrown their young out to fend for themselves, yet they still call their parents for food, as do some of the lambs that are now almost the same size as their mothers!
Well, we, at Lechlade Antiques Fair are changing our tunes too, as a few that have been away are returning either this month or next, a few are having their last summer break, and one stallholder has moved away to be nearer her children.
Whilst there are a few stands still available, there shall be a good looking fair this coming Sunday, September 6th. Currently 18 stands, offering a mixture of items as ever, from a few pounds to a few thousand, especially if silver is your interest.
Refreshments are supplied again by our regular caterers, who are also now featuring their skills at Hungerford Antiques Fair, which if I remember correctly is the last Saturday of the month.
Whilst the month has whizzed past me, maybe some of that is due to the fact I have been trying to catch up on a few projects, restoring items, here is one of them for you to see.
Should you have time on Sunday, please do introduce yourself, and I hope that you enjoy the day.
