This Sunday, April 3rd, we shall be on show at Lechlade Memorial Hall, with a few dealers returning from their March break, and a new dealer to us, selling postcards!
Phillipa has sent me these to share with you, and they will be featured on her stall this Sunday.
A set of 14 volumes of ‘The National Encyclopedia: a dictionary of universal knowledge,’ published in London by William Mackenzie in 1880 and originally sold by subscription.
The A to Z volumes are in good condition and are 10″ tall x 7″ wide. They contain approximately 600 plates, around 126 of which are steel engraved in full colour. Bound in brown cloth, with brown end papers, there is black and gilt titling and decoration on the cover and spine, including a gilt ‘Britannia’ design.
Offers based on £150 for the set.
Here they all are!
Maybe see you at the fair?
All the best, Andy
